Maths Worksheet Generator
Printable arithmetic worksheets with answer keys for any number range.
About this tool
Choose the operation and the range for each number, the number of questions and columns, and a title. Switch on the vertical column layout for written methods, allow negative answers if you want them, and show answers to check. Print the worksheet, then print the answer key with the same seed, or press New questions for a fresh sheet. The preview shows exactly what will print.
Making good arithmetic practice sheets
Short, regular practice builds fluency faster than occasional long sessions, and a worksheet that matches the learner's level keeps it productive. Set the number ranges to the skill you're practising: 2 to 12 for both numbers gives classic times-tables practice, 1 to 20 suits early addition and subtraction, and two- or three-digit ranges with the vertical layout practise written column methods. Division questions are built backwards from a multiplication, so they always come out as whole numbers. 2 to 12 for both ranges means every division is a times-table fact in reverse. Subtraction keeps answers positive by swapping the numbers unless you allow negatives. Mixed sheets combine all four operations once each skill is secure. Each sheet has a seed number printed at the bottom. Entering the same seed with the same settings recreates the same questions, so you can print the answer key later or give a whole class an identical sheet. Honest limits: questions are random within your ranges, so occasional repeats happen, and the generator covers whole-number arithmetic only, not fractions, decimals or word problems. Printing uses your browser's print dialog; choose Save as PDF to keep a file. The multiplication table is a handy reference, the long division calculator shows written working and the fraction calculator handles fractions.

Can I recreate the same worksheet later?
Yes. Note the seed number on the sheet and enter it again with the same settings.
Is my data saved?
No. The worksheet is generated in your browser and nothing is stored or sent.
