Greeting Card Maker

Printable quarter-fold greeting cards from one sheet.

About this tool

Choose an occasion (birthday, thank you, congratulations, holidays or get well), edit the front, the inside message and the back, pick a colour and print. Fold twice and the card reads correctly.

How quarter-fold cards work

A quarter-fold card is made from one sheet folded twice, so it prints on one side only, with no double-sided printing to line up. The sheet is divided into four quarters. The front cover goes in the bottom-right quarter and the back cover in the bottom-left. The inside message goes in the top half, printed upside down, because folding the top half back behind the bottom flips it the right way up. Fold the top half back behind the bottom half (printing facing out), then fold the left half back behind the right. The front is then on the outside and the message inside. Light dashed lines show where to fold. Start from sample wording for birthdays, thank-yous, congratulations, the holidays or get-well wishes, change the emoji, front message, inside message and back line, and choose a colour. Printing on thin card or heavier paper gives a sturdier card, and an A4 sheet makes a card about 105 ร— 148 mm (A6), which fits a C6 envelope. Honest limits: emoji and fonts depend on your device, and for photo cards a design app is better. The birthday message generator and the envelope printer are related.
