Making tent place cards
Place cards help guests find their seats at weddings, dinners, conferences and classrooms. These are tent cards: each is printed as a tall rectangle with a dotted fold line across the middle, so it stands up on the table once folded. With 'name on both sides', the top half is printed upside down, so after folding the name reads correctly from either side of the table, which is handy for round tables. Add a table number after a comma ('Alice Morgan, 1') to print it under the name, and an optional event line such as 'Emma & James ยท 20.09.2026'. Choose an elegant script, classic serif, modern sans-serif or fun style. Four cards fit on each page with dashed cut lines, so 120 guests need 30 sheets. Print on card stock of about 200โ300 gsm so the cards stand up, and score the fold line with a ruler and a blunt edge for a crisp fold. Honest limits: script fonts depend on what's installed on your device, so check the preview, and very long names are set smaller. The seating chart maker and the invitation maker are related.
